ADDISON MONROE HENSLEY IS HERE!

Last night at five as I was getting off work, I got a phone call that scared the poo outta me. (not literally, don't worry) My sister had been in labor all day and they had to do an unexpected c-section! I was super worried. Yet, about 45 minutes later I got the best text ever. Addison Monroe Hensley is here, 6lbs 7ounces, 19 inches long, and she and Mackenzie are doing great!

Babies Babies Everywhere!!!

It's official...I am freaking out! My sister is in 
 labor right now. It is times like this that it is the hardest to be away from home! I would give almost anything to be at that hospital with her right now to hold her hand and see my new beautiful niece. I will be Addison's favorite aunt of course...I have already bought her some clothes :) I cannot wait to meet her July 29 when Mark and I go to Texas :) I called this morning on my way to work and Mackenzie was feeling well enough to talk to me...apparently she isn't feeling a thing yet! She is crazy...she has been in labor since last night and didn't even realize it! haha. She said "Hey Laci...I"m pregnant and having a baby. Who knew?" That kidder...Anyways, Addison Monroe Hensley is on her way! EEk!!!!!!

Married Life :)

Mark and I have been Married for almost five months :) ...only an eternity more to go! Being married definitely takes some adjusting, not going to lie about that. But of course it is a wonderful adjustment. It is amazing to me the amount that we have grown since we have been married. I thought I knew him, I thought I loved him before we got married, and I certainly did to some extent. You learn things about a person after marriage that you would never learn about them dating, no matter how long you date for :) Just a fact of living with someone I suppose. For instance...I love the way Mark has a glass of milk with his bowl of cereal...that already has milk in it. I love it when he gets in silly moods and he will just hop up and down in front of me, exclaiming whatever it is that he is excited about. I love it when the first thing he tells me when he wakes up is how much he loves me. I love it when he tries to finish my sentences...but says the wrong words. I love it when we lie on the couch at night and he lets me put my hand on the collar of his shirt, even though it stretches it out. I love it when we unknowingly wear the same color and he rushes into the room to change because he hates it when we match. I could go on and on and on but you would probably get bored. I have so much more to learn about him and I can't wait.

TO ZION NATIONAL PARK

So I had an amazing weekend! Me and the girls woke up at 4 a.m. on Saturday and drove down to Zion National Park. We hiked up to observation point (an 8 mi hike) If you ever plan on doing a hike that long make sure you take more than four bottles of water for yourself. HaHa. The fact that it was 110 degrees didn't help much either. None-the-less it was amazing!!! That is me, dangling my legs over the edge of a cliff. That was about halfway up the trail.

Weekend in Sin City

So fourth of July weekend was the best! I left Utah Thursday at five right after i got off work. I got to Mark's house around 9 that night :) After I said my hellos Mark and I went and hung out with some of his friends and went hot tubbing. Then we left and went back to his house and headed to bed. Friday Mark had to work til six :( but Melissa and Mike (his siblings) and I went and swam at Melissa's best friend's pool, where we watched their genius of a friend Casey dive in to the 5 ft pool and break his nose. When Mark got off work we went out to Applebees with his fam. Afterwards, Mark and I hung out with another group of his friends. When we left their house, we drove out to the Vegas Temple. It was beautiful!!!! I loved it :) Saturday Mark, Mike, their dad, and I went dirt biking! When we got back to the house we cleaned up and got ready for our fourth of July barbeque! I met some more of Mark's aunts, uncles, and cousins. His fam is SO MUCH fun. Seriously. After we all ate, we went to this amazing park by Mark's house and played frisbee and went long boarding (my new favorite hobby!) For the fireworks, we went on Mark's balcony because you can see the strip from it :) Mackenzie, can I just say that his sister reminds me of you! We ended up singing patriotic songs and Melissa and Melinda danced for us. HaHa. Then we went out in the street and popped a few fireworks of our own. Sunday was pretty restful. We just went to church then came home, napped, and then went long boarding at the park again and flew a kite! After the park we came home and Mark did my toes! hehehe. He's the best. Monday morning sucked. That drive home is the worst!!!!! I had to leave at 5:30 am to make it back to work on time. I fall asleep everytime! ugh. I can't wait til Mark gets back here...Well now that I have given you a day by day log of my weekend, I suppose I should go do something productive with my life.
